Do I need technical skills to use PerfectForms? |
Our mantra is "No Coding". There are very few PerfectForms where you will need technical skills. |
What software needs to be installed? |
None unless you are using the Image Acquisition features for TWAIN Scanning, Digital Signatures, Webcam interfacing, Bar Code and RF ID Tag based tracking. These require an ActiveX. |
How much time will I save using PerfectForms? |
A lot. Compared to conventional development, processes built using PerfectForms will need 10% of the time or less. Furthermore, they are easier to maintain and easier to integrate. |
How easy is it to learn? |
The answer to this questions assumes that you spend quality learning time rather than just casually dipping in and out. To build simple data collection forms will require around 2 hours of learning to get a good grounding. To build more complex forms and surveys will require up to one solid day, depending on your natural aptitude. To build simple business processes and workflows you should allow one to two days of learning. For complex business processes you should allow a week of learning and practice. |
Can forms be embedded into my own sites? |
Yes. There are a number of ways that you can do this. Forms can be directly embedded within any web page or you can have them appear as pop-ups. |
What browsers are supported? |
PerfectForms will run in almost any browser on PCs and Apple Macs. PerfectForms uses Flash. |
Can PerfectForms integrate with other systems? |
Yes - PerfectForms allows other systems to initiate and complete new Forms as well as initiating workflows. This is done using simple Web Service / API calls. You can also get PerfectForms to send data to other systems (via Web Services / http calls) as well as PDFs, LDAP and other SOA type interfaces. |
Can I have PerfectForms hosted? |
Yes. PerfectForms On Demand runs on our own servers. |
Can I have PerfectForms running on my own servers? |
Yes. PerfectForms On Premise can be installed on your own servers. |
How does pricing work? |
PerfectForms is priced based on the number of Users. We do not charge for testing servers nor for load-balancing. We can also price specially for specific applications where large numbers of Users need to use only a few forms. Our goal is to ensure value for money. |
