The check box group consists of three check boxes that can be placed on a page as a linked group. The advantage over dragging individual check boxes separately to the page is that you reduce steps since the group can be moved as a single unit and you avoid the task of aligning and formatting separate objects.
As a usability guideline, you should establish check boxes in groups of ten or fewer and arrange them vertically rather than horizontally for optimal readability. |
To group check boxes: |
1.In Layout view, drag a Check box Group onto the layout canvas. 2.Under the Main section on the Properties panel, select the Has Header check box to add a header. 3.Enter a name in the Caption field. 4.To modify style, navigation or behavior settings, select the check box group on the canvas and edit Group Properties on the Properties panel. |
